macOS Calendar repeating invite notifications for same event multiple times

Hello, most likely this is happening to more people but I couldn't find anything about it.

I have one particular calendar, associated to my work Microsoft account, that keeps sending me the same event notification over and over again, and over and over again I accept it. Minutes or hours later, it comes back.

Today it has been 8 times for the very same invitation.

Is this a macOS Calendar bug or something else?

I have the same calendar on my iPhone and this does not happen.

Anyone experiencing the same and know how to fix it? It is quite annoying.
