I never have ordered another VPN, but received the DuckDuckGo VPN.

If you acquired the DuckDuckGo web browser as a subscription, then it comes with a VPN, whether you want it or not.

Third party web browsers are all pointless in iOS as they must use Apple's WebKit. The same underlying structure that runs Safari. You're basically using Safari with a different interface.
