HDMI audio and Bluetooth connected at same time on Apple TV

Hi

I want to stop muting of HDMI audio output when bluetooth device connected.

My mother-in-law has Bluetooth hearing aids. Wish to pair and connect these to Apple TV, but also keep HDMI audio going to AVR for the rest of us watching show.

Any ideas, tested with Bluetooth headphones, but it mutes audio from HDMI.

Unfortunately, very few if any TVs and/or audio systems and/or streaming devices allow for ‘standard’ room audio AND headphones (or earbuds or hearing aids) simultaneously.

You can ask Apple to implement your request. Feedback - Apple TV - Apple

Else try finding (other) solutions through a consumer advocacy group that specializes for the hard of hearing. E.g. https://dhhcan.org/

So sledge hammer approach going to try is:

HDFURY Vertex with a Mazer Flymate Duo. The Vertex connected to zone2 output of processor. Flymate connected to headphone audio out of Vertex. Then pair headphones / hearing aids to Flymate.

Now not advocating as solution for others as cost of these 2 are c. $300. But I had them not being used.

Would be good if could be software option for this. Basically non muting when Bluetooth connected.
