MainStage: Full Logic/Mackie Control for MIDI display

I would like to request the implementation of full Logic/Mackie Control protocol support in MainStage for external MIDI controllers.

Currently, MainStage sends only parameter values via MIDI feedback, but does not transmit textual metadata such as track names and parameter names. Controllers capable of displaying text (for example, Novation LaunchControl XL Mk3) can show all three lines of information in Logic Pro — track name, parameter name, and parameter value — because Logic fully implements the Logic/Mackie Control protocol.

Adding support for the complete protocol in MainStage would allow:

Transmission of all metadata currently sent in Logic Pro

Proper display of track and parameter names alongside values on compatible controllers

Seamless integration with hardware surfaces without modifying the controller firmware

This enhancement would significantly improve MainStage’s usability for live performance, bringing its external controller integration in line with Logic Pro.
