iMac suddenly going slow and Beach-balling

Eventually took it to the Genius Bar and it’s now in having a new Hard Drive fitted. It took a week to get a backup done using migration assistant and running a fresh OS on a USB drive.

Also worth noting that the online diagnostic picked up the fault in 5 minutes. Thanks for your help anyway folks.
