iPad LTE Cross-Country Compatibility

Regarding the iPad Pro 11" w/ LTE (T-Mobile) I just bought in the US, will the LTE\Cellular work in China? I saw on the website it uses an embedded SIM card, but will the cellular channels work? My wife and I have both China Telecom and China Unicom data service.

if usa and china use different LTE frequencies then it will not work with LTE but only with 3g
