Restrictions Password.

I have forgotten my Restrictions password how can I reset it?

iPhone 7, iOS 12

Follow the steps in the first article to transfer your photos & videos.

Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then the following for your contacts.

Keep your contacts up to date on all of your devices with iCloud - Apple Support

Thank you so much!

This helped, but the one thing is I want to keep my contacts and photos when reseting my phone, but I have no backup before my restrictions passcode. Is there another way like calling Apple Support Hotline would that help?

Don't bother backing up your phone before you set it up as new. As KiltedTim stated in that thread, "Do NOT restore your backup. The restriction settings are contained in the backup. If you restore a backup made after you turned on the restrictions, you'll end up right back where you started".

And another question.

What if I wanted to back my phone to my mac using iTunes I follow all the steps, but the "backup now" button is greyed out. How do I fix this?

Thank you this helped a lot, but when I reset my phone do I use my normal Apple ID or will that get me back to where I started. As I want to use the same Apple ID.
