iCloud photos
Is it possible for me to sync iPhone 6 and iPad photos in iCloud? I also have a Mac but do not want to have all my photos in iCloud! I can't seem to get it to work and wonder if maybe it's not possible!
iPhone 6s, iOS 12

If you turn on iCloud Photos (Settings > [username] > iCloud > Photos > iCloud Photos on both the iPhone and the iPad (but don't turn it on in the Mac in Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud if you don't want it to sync), the photos on both devices should sync to iCloud and to each other, assuming that they are both logged into iCloud using the same Apple ID and assuming that you have enough space on iCloud.
If you don't have enough space on a device, also turn on the Optimize option. See: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

Thank you so much. I was beginnning to think I could not do this. Now I have signed out of iCloud on everything and signed back in again. Photos has taken a while but now all synced. Thanks a lot.
