After getting an iPad Pro at an Apple store, I came home and found out it did not include charger or charging cords or ANY accessories

After spending $1300 on my iPad Pro at an Apple store, I came home and found out it did not include charger or charging cords or ANY accessories.


Had to go out and buy these accessories. You would think the salesperson would tell you that your iPhone cords won’t charge this device.


Last thing you want to do is go out and spend more after paying over a Thousand dollars.


Very disappointed Apple.

You should have contacted Apple or returned to the store immediately. Was the iPad in a sealed shrink wrapped box? Do you still have the box the iPad came in? Are you absolutely certain the charging cable wasn't in the box under something? They come very carefully packaged and perhaps you didn't know the cable was in the box. Very little information is supplied with any iOS device. The user manual is available to be downloaded via the Books App.

If you go online and look at the link from Apple directly about what's in the box, this is what you would have seen:

Scan down to what's in the box.


It's unfortunate you waited 6 months to express your feelings about this, which shouldn't have happened to begin with. Apple should have not only apologized over the phone but advised you to go back to the store, where they would have immediately provided the missing cable.

It WAS an Apple store....I also bought the model where a SIM card can be installed so I can use it other than on WiFi. No info was included on buying one or using one. Also, last nite I went to see how to use ear buds with this IPad...but no information or accessory was included. Had to look online for this info as I will continue to do because Apple seemed unconcerned after they got their money.

For the amount I spent, a little information would have been useful. I owned iPhones all my life and still do but after buying this IPad I expected more from Apple.

Don’t assume anything when buying an iPad. Open the box and ASK questions right then and there and get answers. Once u leave...it’s to late.
