I pad is disabled

My Ipad says it is disabled and I have to connect to I tunes. What do I do

You erase your iPad by following the directions in this link EXACTLY: If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes on your computer (v12.9.x)
