Restart to set up correctly

I didnt choose the correct way to set up my phone. I need to transfer my back up and hit the set up as new because it was asking about the Ipad. The Ipad is a personal device and the phone is a work phone not to be co mingled with the Ipad. How can I restart to set up correctly so all my apps and accounts will be on the new Iphone X from the Iphone 7?

iPhone X, iOS 12

You have to be signed into the correct Apple ID in order to do this. I assume that you use the same Apple ID on both devices.

First of all, make sure that you have a backup for the work phone. Go to Settings>Your Name>iCloud>iCloud Back Up>On and see if the backup shows in the next screen.

You can also see your backup in Settings>Your Name>iCloud>Manage Storage>Backups. This option would probably be the better place to see your backups. You can see all backups for all of your iOS devices that use the same Apple ID in there.

if you have the correct backup that you want to use, you need to erase the phone in order to restore the backup. If you have a backup that you can restore, follow these instructions.
