iTunes repeatedly asks for authorization

When I try to play many (but not all) of the songs in my library, iTunes asks me for authorization. It won't play the song after I enter my apple ID and password. This process is repeated each time I attempt to play the song. The song plays just fine if I use the file browser to locate the file and right click and select play. I've tried all the solutions I could find related to this issue on the web, including a complete removal and re-installation. Anybody have any ideas on how to get this resolved?

Typically this indicates an incomplete or corrupt download of a purchased item. Delete from the library without hiding from your purchase history then redownload. While downloading click the activity icon and turn off the feature for simultaneous downloads.

Hello Freon_Aideron,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

I see from your post that iTunes on your PC keeps asking you for authorization each time you play some songs from your library.

Take a look at this article called If iTunes prompts you to authorize your computer when you try to play iTunes Store purchases and try all of the steps recommended.

I hope this information helps you.

Cheers!
