Using an older 85w Magsafe 2 charger with a new Mac Book Pro 15" 2019

I have two 85W Magsafe chargers, one in the office and one at home, for my 2015 MacBook Pro. I've just upgraded and want to know a)if I can safely use the 85W changer with the new 2019 MacBook Pro and b)is there an adapter that changed magsafe to USBc? Don't really want to carry the brick around and don't really want to blow another £100 on office charger and lead!
