Lost phone

In April I lost my phone on Bali. The police were notified and find my phone was pin pointing an area but too large for the police to find it.

I now have had an email from Find my Phone,

“activation lock is requesting my password” on my iPhone6 which is the lost phone. I have also had requests from Facebook for my password. I notified Facebook.

What should I do?

Christine

Ignore the prompts and messages. Leave the device as is, do not wipe it. Do not log into iCloud through any email or text messages. Apple does not send these messages, they are phishing attempts to get your account info to log out of Find My iPHone and wipe the device.
