iPhone Camera

Hey guys, so the camera on my iPhone X is not working. I open up the camera app and all I get is a black screen - with only the white circle you use to take a photo with - and then, after about 10 seconds, it takes me out of the app and onto the home screen. I’ve tried accessing the camera via apps such as Instagram and Snapchat, and it still doesn’t work. I’ve also tried rebooting it, turning it off and on again, and even resetting my settings, but nothing seems to work! Also, it started happening after updating my phone to iOS 12.4 yesterday.
