Upgrading MacBook Ram

I have a MacBook of Ram 4X2 gb DDR3 1600 Mhz.

Recently showing a lot of slow actions and response.

With current Ram, it is expected,, I need to upgrade to the max Possible.

can I upgrade to DDR4 8X2 gb 2400 Mhz ?

Yes...you can go up to 16 gigs. Very simple to do. But must be DDR3 not DDR4. and should be 1600 Mhz rather than 2400, though 2400 might work in a pinch. You may also wish to consider buying an SSD and installing it for faster performance, but it will be somewhat pricier than the extra Ram. Buy from known good Mac ram vendor who offers lifetime guarantee and good return policy....

Get more information about your computer, go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).
