suspicious call

Received a suspicious call alleging from Apple employee suspicious activity on my iCloud recently. Was transferred to a another individual they indicated Apple representative that there was a problem. There was a communication issue so I hung up. What I’m trying to ascertain is was this a legit call and is there a problem with my iPad and the iCloud I
