Hi Darcy!

If your iPhone is disabled due to a forgotten passcode, you have a couple choices:

  • You can connect your iPhone to iTunes and place into recovery mode: iPhone 6s or earlier, iPod touch (6th generation or earlier), or iPad with Home button: Press and hold the Side (or Top) button until the power off slider appears. Drag the slider to turn off your device. Connect your device to your computer while holding the Home button. Keep holding the Home button until you see the recovery-mode screen (iTunes symbol). Then you can select to Restore it, which will erase your phone to factory settings.

  • If using iCloud, you should be able to go to https://www.icloud.com/#find from a computer and sign in. Then go to All Devices drop down menu and select your iPhone. Once selected and if your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi, you will be able to remotely erase it.
