iTunes Subscription
I have a trial membership for iTunes. Once I download a song/album should I be able to transfer that song/album to my iPod?

If you mean Apple Music (there isn't any subscription to the iTunes Store), and if it's an iPod Touch (and it's online), you should be able play Apple Music tracks (Add and download music and video content from the Apple Music catalog - Apple Support) - if it's any other type of iPod no.
