iPhone 11 won't play music over USB, anyone else?

Just tried playing music in my car over USB, like I've been doing for years, and it won't work. I thought it was maybe a software issue with iOS 13, but my iPhone Xs on iOS 13 works fine. Has anyone else had this issue? Thinking of returning the phone now. This has never been a problem with any other iPhone.

I am having the same issue, but there isn’t an update for 13.1 available.

It comes out on Sept. 24, you can install the iOS 13.1 public beta if you don’t want to wait. It’s pretty easy, just google how.
