Adding music files to library

When I attempt to add music files to my library in the new ITunes/Apple Music, the menu option is grayed out? Is this functionality no longer available?

Try File > Import, or drag and drop into the library or a playlist, or use the Automatically Add to Music folder inside your designated media folder. The menu options may disabled when viewing particular sections of the library, a device, or a remote library.

Whatever the failings of Music it remains the case that File > Import is the equivalent to the File > Add to Library menu option from iTunes. Use Music > Preferences > Files to set your options for Keep... and Copy... which control whether or not files are copied and/or rearranged on import.
