iPhone 8 - black screen

My iPhone 8 rings, but the screen is black. Tried resetting it volume up / down, hold power button, does not work.

Perhaps you are not holding the "Side Button" long enough.


According to: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

  • iPhone 8 or later: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
