The owner of this product has sent it in for repair, and a new (refurbished) product has replaced it. The serial number entered has been taken out of service.

Serial Number of Product has been replaced. So , I was on Apple's Check Coverage website. I entered my serial number for my iPhone 4 , but then it states that "We’re sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number. If your information is correct, you may need to contact us." . I would like to know why this has happened. For all I know my iPhone is at least 10 years old now.
