Ios13 mail app change

After updating to ios13, mail app now opens a tiny safari page overlay in the message instead of allowing the link to redirect and open the full safari site. I don’t know how to close this so I can read my mail. Anyone else having this problem, if you have figured out what to do, please let me know. I find this very annoying. I prefer for any email link to redirect me to the safari site rather than pulling up this tiny side page blocking my email...this to me is weird...but maybe I’m missing something?? Thank you.

Welcome to the community.

Simply tap - don’t touch and hold. Within the new iPadOS, the longer touch-and-hold gesture now invokes an action menu - and message preview window.

I hope this helps to resolve your usability issue.
