Mail shutdown

Since upgrading to Catalina, my Mail app won't stop shutting down. I can't get any work done. I am working on a MacBook Pro. Any recommendations?

If Mail spontaneously quits, read If Mail unexpectedly quits when viewing certain messages.

Quit Mail greyed out I'm having problems shutting down because Mail is not allowing me to quit due to that selection being greyed out, can anyone help please? Its a real nuisance as its forced me to consider changing to another mail app but I really like Mail I'm running Catalina 10.15.7 on a 2019 MacBook Pro Touch Bar.

mail crashes after upgrade 10.15.4 after I upgrade to catalina 10.15.4, every time i try to open my mail app, crashes... need some help!
