unlocking an iphone with forgotten passcode
I have an iphone that my daughter used to use, but she forgot the passcode to unlock it. How do I unlock it and get to the homepage to reset the passcode?

You can’t. All you can do is restore it to factory defaults—>If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
