Cannot add music to iTunes

Hey can anyone help with this one please? I purchase music via beatport (legal!) as aiff files and have until today been able to add them to my iTunes very easily as drag and drop. Have tried logging out and logging back in to iTunes, have looked everywhere to try to try to add files - nothing is working! Can anyone trouble shoot please?

Hi,

The “Automatic add to Music “ folder should be located in your music folder that includes your music library file. Read thisImport music from a computer to Music on Mac - Apple Support

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the response.

Are you talking about "copy files to music media folder when adding to library" in preferences.? That is enabled. AM i looking in all the wrong places?

I cannot find anything that says 'Automatically add to music' , cant add via right click on the tracks, cant add via add file/folder via import from file drop down.
