Deleted messages from iCloud account using Mail for Mac

Messages deleted from iCloud account using Mail for Mac cannot be recoverd. The undo command does nothing. The deleted message is not in the trash folder or any folder dedicated to deleted items/nmessages. This is a recent phenomenon and occurs intermittently.

Make sure you don't choose the option when quitting mail .

It depends upon the internet service provider in how many days they delete the mail from server , make sure you are not exceeding mail storage limits , right click on inbox for iCloud account and click on get info https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mail/mlhlp1193/mac
