Updated to Catalina- can not open APP store

I have recently updated to Catalina, now Imovie, Excel and Word need to be updated. When I try to open the app store it will not open and only shows a blank screen.

I have tried all of the following fixes suggested here https://appletoolbox.com/app-store-not-working-in-macos-catalina-how-to-fix/ but have not had any success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.15

Hi I've tried this but it doesn't change anything.

Any other suggestions much appreciated.

Hi There,

That wasn't very helpful, is there something specific I should be looking for in Itunes support. I really need assitance with this so if you were able to shed some light on the issue I'd really appreciate it.
