WiFi takes forever to connect on MacBook Pro

Is anyone else having issues with the WiFi of their MacBook Pro (the one with the touchbar) connecting to WiFi? This has happened to me across locations, even after restarting and reconfiguring the wifi settings. The laptop is very fickle and decides when it feels ready to connect to WiFi. This can take anywhere from 10 seconds to at least 5 minutes and is really inconvenient, especially when I have business meetings I need to attend.
