AirPods Connecting Separately

Why does my airpods connecting Sepearately? it keeps blinking orange and I cant reset it. when it is connecting only one is playing and both has different name in the bluetooth. it connects but it is separated and i don’t even know what to do. please help me. when both connected and i am playing music only one is playing, only it turns green or white when i remove my airpods in the case and when i am putting only one airpods it is normal but when i am putting both the light will be blinking orange
