Just do it.

Open the first project. Open the second project. Logic asks if you want to close the first one. Just click Don't Close.

While this can be useful for simple and quick edits between projects, don't keep more than one project open for normal work.

You just open them, it can be done. However, when you switch between open projects, coreaudio has to restart, and this takes seconds, but the more sampled instruments you have in those projects, the longer it takes, up to minutes - it is not recommended to do it. Why do you need more than one project open at the same time?

Apple has a rule in which you can only open the number of projects if it is a triangle number.

This is why you're having trouble opening 2 projects. You can open 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, 55, 66 projects etc at once. But not 2. Although opening 66 projects would be rather silly.

This particular release goes to Breast Cancer Reseach after Bandcamp and PayPal fees.

The band ended a couple of years ago but there were some unfinished songs and the wife of one of the band members is going through breast cancer treatment so it fitted well.
