when i connect airplay to a streamer i cant control volume from my ipad i have to control the volume from stereo what should i do to control the volume from my iPad ?

iPhone volume while using AirPlay I have an iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 14.4.1. I usually have my ringer volume (set to essentially where the “r” is on the display. While sending music to my home speaker mini my ringer volume seems to magically be Max. If I try to play a game or watch a video the sound is usually where ever I left it prior to using AirPlay. How can I adjust game/video volume and/or ringer volume on my device while not changing AirPlay volume?

iOS 18 and Airplay issues with volume changing When I updated to iOS 18 on my iPad Air 2024, and I stream to my streamer via Airplay, two issues have occurred consistently. One, the volume on each song changes and I constantly need to adjust the volume on my stereo. Second, a few songs will play and at times when the next song plays there is no volume even though the song is playing, and I need to hit the double arrow back button to go bak to the beginning of the song and the song will play and output sound. Neither of these two issues occurred until I updated to 18. Any others experiencing the same issues?

This must be new behavior. I've used an Apple TV 4K connected to a stereo reciever to send music to my patio for at least a year. I've always been able to use my phone to AirPlay music to the Apple TV 4K, then control volume with my phone. Today, I notice it won't let me. I'd like to control volume on my phone, since the receiver isn't near where I listen.

If I remember well i think That was the way I settled the volume up and down from my iPad
