IPad reset

I just found my old IPad from years ago and can't get in bc I forgot the passcode....it is old enough that I can't find it in my devices either...any help to reset??

Unfortunately you must now fully restore your iPad to factory settings.


Please refer to the following Apple Support documents.


If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Do you know which iPad type/model it is?

The model number is in the back of your iPad, in small print, under the large print “iPad


If its too old, it is not worth reviving as you will NO LONGER find any compatible apps for that old an iPad in the iOS App Store, now.
