Apple Books Not Working on iPad Pro

I’m running iOS 13.4.1 on a 2nd generation iPad Pro.


Apple Books is doing this:



Meanwhile, it is working fine on my iPhone XR.


Any advice on how to fix Apple Books to work on my iPad?

Thank you, picas. I had tried offloading without success but was, for some reason, reluctant to delete and reinstall. It totally worked and I still have the content that was previously loaded since it was stored in iCloud! Thanks again.
