The airpods light stays white the whole time

The light blinks green and when you press the button it stays white and it never connects. I just bought these.

Airpods are not connecting. When I try and connect them the light will not turn white and flash, it will only flash green. The lid is open and everything is charged.

My Airpods are charged and the light is green, but it won't turn turn white - how can I fix this? My Airpods are charged and the light is green on the case, but when I remove the airpods from the case, it remains green and when I hold down the reset button it does not flash white (just stays green). Has anyone experienced this and have a fix? It is driving me crazy!
