Error Message when trying to sync iphone to computer

I have a windows computer, and my iPhone 6s wont sync with it. an error message pops up saying " The iPhone "iPhone" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (-54)."

How can this be fixed?

my iphone 13 pro wont sync with itunes when i connect and manually hit the sync button it will go through the process with diagnostics then it will stop syncing with the iphone. i get an error saying iphone cannot get syncede. an unknown error occurred (-54)
