iPhone messaging

I am having trouble with my messaging. I try to send group messages and my messages send but I do not see that they send and I cannot see the responses back. What can I do! I have tried re setting, turning in and off cell data, messaging ect. Help!

MMS and SMS are not working properly on my iPhone5s. I've had trouble receiving group messages for the last eight days. Phone randomly dumps a bunch of backlogged messages at random times. I'd like to know what settings will allow me to get messages that have been sent to me but do not show up on my iMessage group texts. It looks like messages I send out are being received but their replies do not show up on my phone.

iMessage Can anyone help me, my iMessage is broken it won’t let me send or receive messages from group chats or direct messages. I have tried restarting my phone, changing the settings, resetting the network data, basically any method I could find online but it’s not working, is there any way to fix this because it was broken on my old iPhone 7 and still is on my iPhone XS
