One friend i get zero notification of a text from her on my iPhoneX

Why do I never get the notification when my one friend texts me. i have the iPhone X. Many times ive noticed that the text shows up hours after she sends it too? This happens with no one else and i have checked all my settings and she is not restricted at least for what I can tell?

So when I text my friend, the messages don’t deliver, but I can still see there messages when they send it? Double check that you don't have hide alert set for her text.
