Shuffle all music STORED on Apple Watch

Hello all. I have a Series 3 GPS. On Apple Watch music app, I understand the concept of selecting "Songs" from the library and hitting the shuffle button, but this functionality only works when connected to your phone. (or possibly your home wifi)

Say i have 4 playlists, and 4 albums STORED on my watch, I want to shuffle every song that's stored on my watch. When I'm disconnected form my phone, the "songs" in my library are all grayed out and this functionality does not work. I would think it SHOULD theoretically show me all the songs stored locally on my watch and allow me to shuffle all those stored songs but it does not.

I can only select and play individual playlists, or individual albums. Am I missing something? this seems like basic Music App functionality.
