High Sierra

Hi Everyone! I have a question, I have a mid 2011 MacBook Pro but whenever I update the OS to High Sierra it seems like its updating but after the update installed it won't rebook properly. Is there any way this can be bypass or there's not much I can do but to buy a new laptop.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.12

Haven’t try the Safe Boot. I keep trying the disk utility for this. I have an update for the OS and tried it couple times. It will get the update but won’t open after, just keep loading. Had to reinstall the old OS couple times in order for my laptop to open.
