I need help to have an unauthorised transaction done on my account to be refunded. I am located in Australia and someone from the USA has purchased a game on my account? I need to know the steps to proceed as I contacted customer service and sent through supporting images of my account being deducted and the invoice of the purchase with the customers details (not me). This was also emailed to me by Apple Support notifying me of this transaction. After contacting customer service via email, they have instructed I post on here for assistance however I find it quite inconvenient to having post sensitive information publicly when I already emailed screenshots of this to them personally? Please help?

I think that you have been scammed with a phishing email trying to get you to reveal your Apple ID details.

Apple Support would not have sent you an email telling you that someone in another country used your account to buy something.

Hopefully you have not clicked any links in the email or revealed your Apple ID & password.

If you did, contact Apple Support Account Security to try to resecure your Apple ID.
