Can't add password per instructions, only CHANGE PASSWORD! Catalina!

I followed the instructions as described on forum help page, and when it said "Choose an account from the “Automatic login” menu, then enter the password of that account", the only option I have is to CHANGE PASSWORD, not add a password. What do I do??

All I want is to not have to log in with password every time I restart my Mac!

You're close, unlock the lock if need be then over on the bottom left click on Login Options, choose Automatic Login for that user.

John Appleseed is a fake name, used by Apple forum samples. if it was my name, it would be an auto sign in!

All I want is to go back to the old way, before Apple upgraded to Catalina 10.15.4, and just start my computer and not have a log in screen. Can't find anything online that works.

Followed instructions put out by Apple Support, and got nowhere.
