How to scroll down the albums in the sidebar on icloud when filing photos??

So, I've got my thumbnails on the right, and the sidebar on the left with all my many folders & albums. I cannot work how to scroll down them in the sidebar so I can select one which is at the bottom off the screen? I have so many photos that I need many folders & albums! Please can someone help as I'm now finding I can't continue organising my photos :-(

Thanks!

You can shorten the list in the sidebar, if you close the disclosure triangles to the left of the nested folders. The list of folders in the sidebar does not always show a scrollbar, but yiu should usually be able to scroll it with the usual trackpad gestures. If your computer has a mouse, you should be seeing a scrollbar at the right side of the list of albums and folders. I am seeing the scrollbar appear in Safari or FireFox, when I am using a scrolling gesture for the list of albums.

Using a trackpad , take cursor slightly towards right off the albums , use three fingers and move them on the trackpad slightly up and down and don't insert a pressure on the trackpad .

You can move the horizontal bar created over the album to the last album or move in upwards direction , then stop ( remove three fingers from the trackpad ) the album will automatically get selected .

See these screen shots from photo application of Mac .

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer! So, I can do the bit which involves essentially folding the albums down so just the folders are visible. However, I cannot make the scrollbar appear to the right of the folders and albums as you've suggested! I'm on a Microsoft Surface laptop and using Edge - does that make a difference at all?
