Hi, i bought today 18w fast charger with type c lighting cable. When i connect it to my iphone 11 it charges for about 5 seconds then stops charging. Charger which came with iphone works fine. Maybe someone can explane this? All accesories are original apple products.
I gave charger to my friend who have 7 plus, works fine.

I understand from your post that when using an 18W USB-C Power Adapter your iPhone charges for about 5 seconds and then stops. Were you charging it with a case on your iPhone? If so, the case could interfere with charging. Was your iPhone already charged up to 80% when you used the charger? If so, this article has information on why it may have stopped charging under the heading, "If your device stopped charging at 80 percent", which you may find useful:
