iPhone 7 No service

I have an iPhone 7 with "no service". I tried to update/restore it to the factory setting but it keeps saying "Unable to Activate. An update is required to activate your iPhone". I searched online and found there is a recall for "no service" iPhone 7 but I am not sure if my phone is covered. I purchased it around 11/2016 and had the screen replaced by myself. Other than that, I don't see other issues with the phone. Let me know if it is still covered. If yes, how to? Can I ship it to Apple to get it fixed? Thank you!

Since you did a screen repair yourself there is the possibility they'd refuse to service it. But, only Apple can make that call.
