As soon as I boot and the Mac fires up after login, the cursor gets stuck in one position.
This does not happen in Safe mode.
I have removed all startup items, uninstalled apps that startup and tried everything (inlcuding reinstalling Catalina) but am not able to fix the issue. Any help is appreciated.

Did you restore macOS from a backup when you reinstalled macOS Catalina?
Does the cursor work in non-safe mode with the tablet disconnected? If the tablet's acting as if it's pressed, the cursor won't move. Booting in safe mode doesn't load the tablet drivers, so avoids the problem.
No, I installed in recovery mode of Mac.
I use a Wacom sometimes and a similar Chinese make other times - currently the Chinese one is connected? Is that an issue? But it was working well till yesterday!
Thanks Malcom. I disconnected it and it works. In fact I plugged it in after booting and it still works. But why does it think it is pressed?
