I have 2 iphones. 6s and 7 plus. Since 6s was no longer in use, I want to reset it and pass to somebody else. Thing is, I cannot simply reset this phone without apple ID password. How can it be done without affecting my 7 plus? Thank you.

if you are using the same AppleID on both phones you can certainly reset the one without affecting the other.

If the 6 has another ID and you forgot the password you are stuck and cannot pass it on.
