iPad Pro or Mac

I am looking at getting one but don’t know which one is best. Have a laptop now and want to move to Apple as I have iPhone and a iPad Air so want it all to link. But I don’t know which one would suit be best. Am I better off with a Mac is I have a iPad already?

iPad Air 2, iPadOS 13

Only you can decide which is best for your needs. I would suggest the MacBook Pro as you already have an iPad. The computer will have more uses than the iPad, but only you know what you expect from your devices.

We can't tell you what you need.

Only you can decide this.

A full computer, like a Mac, currently, will always be better than any iPad.

What year and model iPad Air do you own?

The newest 10.5 inch screen iPad Air 3 can run the latest and greatest iPadOS version.

The newest iPad Air 3 is more powerful than the 6 and 7-year old earlier iPad Air models and has some features that old iPads do not have.

I have the IPad Air 2

I am looking at doing editing of football sessions and games I have coached, use iMovie a lot on my iPad to do it. Also do some analysing sessions with my players.

use excel for work and have things on a hard drive that I would need to connect to what ever I buy.

that’s the main things I use it for so it’s finding out what would be best to do it.

would be good to go in and speak to Apple but with all this going on may be a while lol so any help and advice to help me decide be great.
