Restore computer before recycling
I have a 2011 MacBook Air that I want to recycle but it stopped turning on before I could restore it. Is it necessary to erase date before I recycle it? If so, how do I do that when it won’t turn on?

Thank you. The issue is my computer won’t even turn on. I don’t think there is an option for that in these step by step instructions
